    Why does my recording sound quiet or muffled?

    Move closer to the microphone and avoid covering it. Noise suppression and automatic gain are turned on to keep your voice clear.

    Are my files uploaded?

    No. FileCrafty processes video and audio inside your browser using your device’s own media engine, so nothing is uploaded — it even works offline once the page has loaded.
